Good article and interesting comparisons with the 1920'. However, I would consider even the most optimistic predictions of an annual world's GDP growth of 2% as minimalistic, assuming that our civilisations does not put itself into an existential danger (and there are several) when an absolute fall of GDP might be more likely. Should we only have to fight threats like the current pandemic, which I consider a vaccination to improve the chances of humanity's survival, then with nearly exponential pace of change in many domains, the world should grow much faster than 3% in the second half of this decade.
